BLOOME STUDIO IS THE HOME FOR MY VISUAL ART

My name is Bethany and I am a color loving contemporary artist based in Charleston, South Carolina. I moved here with my pup Oaklyn in 2023 to finally explore life as a solo human for truly the first time in my adult life. Over the past few years my artwork has taken a back seat to a lot of life changes, a lot of grief, and my investment in my branding agency, @brandsinbloome . Every time I stop creating, I notice a loss of connection with my sense of self, too. Which one comes first? I don't know. What I do know is that I know myself better when I am painting. So I am back in the studio relearning myself. I am currently exploring vibrant, rhythmic floral paintings that help me to process the grief Ive experienced these past few years.
